The Forgotten Angels
Forgotten Angels is a family-run nonprofit our mission is to ensure that north east Florida nursing home residents are never “forgotten” during the holiday season.

Who we are.
Who we are.
We grew from 1 nursing home and 15 gifts in 2003 to 40 homes and 3750 gifts in 2023. Hundreds of volunteers help us throughout the year with visitations, donations, wrapping, and delivering Christmas gifts.
Why We Stand Out
Unwavering Dedication:
Since 2003 the Forgotten Angels have been dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of residents of local nursing homes. We truly belive that the elderly are the forgotten population. Our goal is to bring cheer to those who spend nights, days, and even Holidays in our local nursing homes.
Comprehensive Support Programs:
Volunteers are always ready to help us in our mission. Together we help in planned activities (bingo, proms, and bedside visits) coordinated with the Activities Directors. Little treat bags with snacks and gifts help to lift their spirits, reminding them they are not forgotten. Volunteers also help us with making jellies to sell at festivals, the wrapping and delivery of Christmas gifts.
Community-Driven Efforts:
Since 2003 our focus has been on Christmas. So many residents are living in nursing homes every day of the year. We want to make sure that they have something special for that very special day. We bring Christmas gifts to about 40 homes a year (around 3500 gifts). Let’s make sure that these wonderful people are never forgotten on the most joyous day of the year.
